The Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District is grateful to Martin Law Office, S.C. for their generous support of the district and community with its $300,000 donation to the new Oak Creek Performing Arts & Education Center (OCPAEC). The 1,000 seat, multi-purpose facility, serves the Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District and the surrounding communities by showcasing student performances, offering educational opportunities, providing rental options, and spotlighting world-renowned entertainment.
The donation from Martin Law Office will be used to purchase a digital display sign near the parking lot entrance to the OCPAEC, as well as help offset the operating costs and long-term needs over the next 20 years. “A large part of what makes this community so great is the willingness to support one another. We are so grateful for the generosity of Atty. Kevin Martin, the lawyers, and staff at Martin Law Office, S.C. for ensuring that we have a beautiful facility to showcase our amazing student talent for decades to come,” OCFSD Board of Education President Frank Carini said.
“We are honored to partner with Oak Creek High School and Oak Creek-Franklin Joint School District for the benefit of the students and educators.” Atty. Kevin Martin added. “Martin Law Office, S.C. has been committed to the community and its families since our opening. The success of a community starts with its students and educators. This partnership is a recognition of the high school’s and school district’s past success, and an investment in the future success of the community.”
The new amphitheater has scheduled its grand opening and ribbon-cutting event for Oct. 7 at 4 p.m. The district will put on tours of the new facility throughout the day to get a look at the orchestra pits, stage, backstage, and audio and lighting systems.
