The accident happened on Tuesday, October 27 around 9:00 am. The accident happened on State Highway 32 in Caledonia, Wisconsin. After the initial investigation, law enforcement officials believe that a car crossed over the center line and struck a semi dump truck that was traveling in the opposite direction. Law enforcement officials responded to the scene of the accident and found the vehicle located on the side of the road and the semi was causing a lane blockage. The driver of the vehicle was found trapped in her vehicle and unconscious. The driver of the semi has exited his vehicle and was uninjured. Unfortunately, the driver of the vehicle sustained serious injuries in the collision and was flown to the hospital from the scene of the accident. The Wisconsin State Patrol Technical Reconstruction Unit and Motor Carrier Inspectors are continuing to investigate the accident.
