We count on our vehicles to be reliable and to work the way that they are supposed to. Unfortunately, that is not always the case, and some vehicles may be experiencing problems or potential problems that the owners are not aware of, which can pose safety risks not only to the owners of the vehicles, but also other people. Recently, the automobile maker, Ford, has issued a recall for around 350,000 of their recalls. The Ford recall comes after the discovery that the vehicles have the potential to roll, even when they have been placed in park.
This recall affects almost 350,000 Ford vehicles. The specific vehicles that are affected by the recall are the 2018 Ford F-150 and the Ford Expedition. Both the vehicles with the vehicles with the ten speed automatic transmissions and the the Ford F-650 and F-750 vehicles with the six speed automatic transmissions are affected by the recall.
The Ford recall comes after the discovery that a piece of equipment on the recalled vehicles can become dislodged as time passes. If the piece of equipment dislodges, the car will not be in the gear that it says it is in. If this occurs, the driver may think the vehicle has been shifted into park, but the vehicle may not have actually been shifted into park. There would not be any warning message to alert the driver that the vehicle was not actually in park. This means that the car may roll without any warning to the driver that the car has not been placed in park. If the car begins to roll, it can hit objects or even people, which can cause serious injuries and/or property damage. The company has received
If you own one of these vehicles, you can take it to the dealership where they they will inspect the vehicle to make sure the piece of equipment is intact. If it is not, the dealership will replace it at no cost to the vehicle owner.
